ALLIUM TEST

• A rapid assay used for environmental monitoring or for screening of pollutants which may represent environmental hazards.

• It is used for monitoring the effects of environmental pollutants/toxicants to a plant system specifically the Allium species.

• It aims to investigate the following:

  • Growth inhibition and other morphological effects
  • Genotoxicity
